My Disney Reels

Sorry for the long absence, we've been very busy the last half year, unfortunately not on anything very nice.

These are most of the work I did in my time at Disney ( sad but true ), some of it I'm very proud of, and some of it not so much.
I don't have any of my line tests from Mulan but that's probably for the best.
I felt, towards the end before they closed the Disney studio, like I was finally starting to get the hang of it, and I dream about getting back to that one day.

Most of the work is mine, but there are some scenes here and there I shared with other animators, and even a couple of Kenai scenes ( when he grabs the spear and turns around as the bear attacks ) that are NOT MINE, and only there for continuity.

See what you think.

here first is my Lilo and Stitch work

I'm very impressed by your work, you've done the best animations in brother bear, your work on the mother is fantastic.

Oh man! This is just crazy. Where did you learn to animate like that? Who was your mentor? Just please don't tell me you learned this on your own.

You can be really proud of your work, as this is such high level animation you do not see often.
Happy new Year to you, Rune!
Big Fan !!

Thank you so much guys! Means a lot to me.

Victor - I always wanted a mentor, someone who could take some of the fear and uncertainty out of the work, but no, I never had a mentor. On the other hand, I have worked with some of the best animators in the world over the years and very much hope that I have learned at least some little things here and there from some of them.

Thanks again

Happy New Year to you too!

Rune

I have no words for the awesomeness of your animation skills! "I was finally starting to get the hang of it..." I think you got the hang way earlier. ;)

Thank you very much Angie!

If you can believe it, we never actually did a rough modelsheet for Koda's Mom.
I'll post the only animation drawing I kept of her.
