This is my christmas present for my girlfriend Tiffany Chin-Sim who does voice acting for animation.
It was animated, cleaned up and painted "traditional" style in Adobe Flash and composited in After Effects.
I wanted it to be a kinda online business card slash mini demo for her voice acting.
If you are interested in working with Tiffany or just want to learn more about her, you can find her - here.
I've been learning After Effects for work. This is one of a couple of walk cycle tests I did as exercises. The mouthes and eyelids were done in Flash and the puppet drawn and painted in Photoshop the rest is all Ae.
The project was an adaptation of Tibetan Rock Dog, a comic-book by a chinese rock star. The main character is a Tibetan Mastiff who is the lead singer of a rock band. That was one take on him in the previous post. Here are a few different versions and some of the other characters.
About a year ago I did a couple of weeks of designs for Rock Dog. Not sure why but the version I worked on was stopped and I believe somebody else is doing a different version of it now. I had fun doing it and I quite like some of these.
Oh,, and sorry for the long absence. I moved to Los Angeles and got myself one of them cushy DreamWorks jobs.
