If I remember correctly, she is a zombie girl-scout who's been "living" in the Nevada desert since the nuclear testing in the 50's,, Again,, not my design.
Wow, she looks like a great character, fun expressions. I'd love to see what American Dog was like before it was reworked into Bolt. Though zombie girl scouts don't really seem all that "Disney" but somehow that makes it even more interesting.
I had a lot of fun drawing her,,, and thought she was an original character,,, I haven't seen Bolt, so I don't know how it turned out,,, but I would have liked to se her racing maniacally down the street on her tricycle.
Bolt was alright, definitely nothing along the lines as american dog, wow...I would have rather watched this instead of the bubble gum pop, "I love you theme", happily ever after.... etc. etc. Wicked drawings!
these are great!!!!!!! very expressive! i hate this isn't on the movie! thanks for sharing, your work is always insppiring to learn more on acting and drawing!
Great character design & concept-and of course your poses are exquisite. Shame the film didn't turn out this way but all us animation folk are lucky because looking at your drawings we can visualize the movie in our minds. Love to see more-
Hi, Rune!! Your blog is AMAZING!! What you can do with Flash and all those straight aheads...oh, man! I watched and watched again...and I'll watch when finish this comment! The Animator's way of life is the most better thing of the world!
I love this! I really liked to see concept art of American Dog, I am very curious about the story. The more I see the more I confirm my theory that it wasn't that the movie didn't work as Lasseter said, but more than the movie was considered "not adequate" for Disney.
I can see Disney taking some risks and getting away with it. Even with these unusual characters they could still keep some of the Disney spirit there.
The drawings are terrific, I love the one who is "regenerating" her face.

Wow. How I would have loved to see this character rather than the painfully generic Miley Cyrus girl...

These are beautiful drawings! I love how every one of them are so full of life! The way that every line is so direct and accurate is simply gorgeous!
