I love this! It's such a shame that due to division of labour and other ideas pulling down a lot of orthodox studio animation, especially in America, we'd never see scenes like this nowadays, it would look 'perfect' with cel-shaded CG models--this type of energy can only come straight from drawings! Even if someone isn't titled 'effects' or 'character' animator, a sure understanding of animation overall gives one the power to create things like this. It proves there's more to being an animator than that boring title 'character animator'--breathe life into the whole world!
